Our GPs are able to provide all primary health care services, including minor surgical procedures, mental health care, contraception (Implanon insertion and removal) and management of chronic diseases such as diabetes and asthma.
GPs are able to consult with each other to ensure patients receive the benefit of a collective approach to health care.

Dr Jacob consults at PRMC on Mondays, Tuesdays and Friday mornings.
Dr Penuel Jacob consults at PRDNC Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and alternate Thursday mornings and has a special interest in skin cancers. He speaks Tamil and Malayalam.

Dr. Ahemad Panjvani

Dr Panjvani consults at PRMC on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursday evenings, Fridays and Saturdays.
Dr Ahmed Panjvani consults at PRDNC Thursday evenings, Saturday afternoons and all day Sundays and has a special interest in general family medicine, counselling, implanon insertion and removal, mental health and chronic disease management.

Dr. Farah Ahmad

General Practitioner

Dr Farah Ahmad has a special interest in women’s reproductive health, paediatrics and adolescent mental health. She consults Monday, Wednesday, Friday evenings and Sunday mornings. She speaks Urdu, Hindi, Norsk and has learned basic Dari and Persian.
She also specializes in obstetric shared care and aesthetic procedures such as Botox. She also consults Monday to Thursday mornings.

Dr Afshan Furqan

Dr Afshan Furqan graduated from Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences in Pakistan in 2001. Dr Furqan has a special interest in Women’s Health, Children’s Health and Chronic Disease Management. Other languages: Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi. She consults Tuesdays, Thursday evenings and Saturdays.
Dr Afshan Furqan consults Monday to Friday all day.

Dr Hakima Abbas

Dr Hakima Abbas graduated from Pakistan in 2010 and has worked at the Lyell McEwin and Modbury Hospital for 4.5 years and in general practice for 2 years. She has a special interest in women’s health, Implanon insertion/removal and Mirena removal. She speaks Hazaragi, Urdu and Hindi.
Dr Hakima Abbas consults Tuesdays and Thursdays.
